Seaside Festival
August 9th-11th, 2019
To engage with the community and the holiday goers who love the seaside resort of Spittal!
The Festival takes place each year in the 2nd weekend of August!

In 2019, the annual Seaside Festival takes place on 9th, 10th & 11th August, along the full length of Spittal Promenade. Visitors to the Festival will be able to enjoy street (and beach) entertainers, Punch & Judy, donkey rides, live music, stalls, kids sand castle competitions, food and drink outlets, splashpark, amusement arcade, bouncy castles and all the fun of the fair.
The Miami ride always proves popular to visitors of the Festival.

Entrance and programs are free but don’t be embarrassed to throw your loose change in the collection buckets. The more money we collect the more free entertainment we can provide. If everyone put £1 in a bucket it will help the Trust improve Spittal and help the Festival grow.

For those that want to take time to enjoy the views, sea air and watch the world go by there will be a variety of food outlets which will cater for most tastes.

The area in which we live has a long history of being a destination for a day at the seaside for people from North Northumberland, The Scottish Borders and East Lothian.

The Spittal Seaside Festival takes place over a full weekend and is held as a celebration of this traditional day at the seaside.

Everyone is welcome to join the fun in the marquee.
