Beach Clean-Up

The Trust used to organise regular Quarterly beach cleans but thanks to the efforts of a small band of dedicated volunteers who make daily efforts to keep the beach and promenade tidy we now only arrange one in collaboration with the Marine Conservation Society's Great British Beach Clean event in September each year. See here for more information - MCS

This years' event will be on Saturday 15th September with more details to be confirmed nearer the date.

Why do we do this?

Marine litter is a problem that we can all play a part in solving, and what better way to start than with a day at the beach. So much more than just picking litter, you’ll be contributing to a national survey, and meeting others from our community who want to protect the local environment.

Meet at the Spittal Point Car Park, TD15 1RE.
